Star Wars

I have to break my work-imposed silence for this. Good on Carrie Fisher for losing the weight she was unhappy about but HER FACE? Oh my god. What happened to her? I would rather look like a crone than have plastic surgery like this ... So sad.

Me too. It's scary when people stop looking human.

TNMA, I just find this one particularly freaky as I can't see any semblance of her old self. It's like she's had so much work done that they've erased her. Shudder.

Yikes! That's just frightening. What's sad is that you see so much of that look around certain parts of LA, that I think it gets "normalized" for some people. The first time I went to Saks in Beverly Hills I thought I was surrounded by aliens.

Are you sure that's her? Wow! I can see glimmers of Carrie Fisher there, and I suppose in animation (if that's possible anymore) there would be more, but again, Wow! It's as if she's had a face transplant. . . Sad, to think of living in a climate where that must have felt necessary, even desirable. . .

Pseu, the normalisation of it is just awful, isn't it? And mater, I had to keep looking at the picture to see if I could actually see any of the old CF in there ...

I can't say I enjoy my face ageing but I certainly don't want to look like that!

Eeek! That is Carrie Fisher? I had to look a couple of times. It does look exactly like she's been erased and replaced with some kind of plastic doll. Shudder. Even more frightening that this can become "normal". Strange, the thought of living in a world where "normal" isn't normal anymore and people no longer know the difference.
